Commercial Division
This is the newest addition to Hoisington Realty and is staffed by Ted Bird with Kathy Hoisington as back-up.
It was a long time goal of Kathy’s to create a separate division devoted to the area’s commercial real estate with its own staff of real estate professionals.
In 2004 Kathy was able to coax Ted Bird out of early retirement. Ted had once owned a music/photo store in Bennington and had been a very active community leader. Returning to the Bennington area he accepted Kathy’s invitation to head the commercial division and it grows each year.
There was a distinct vacuum in this sector of the marketplace. There are many large commercial firms that send buyer-broker scouts to investigate commercial sites for the larger shopping centers and free standing commercial entities. There were also many residential firms representing individual commercial properties of a local nature. We decided to create a local commercial division and in the past three years Ted has had numerous sales of business properties including restaurants, law offices and multi-family investment properties. This business is growing nicely and we are now expanding our interest into the Manchester area with the same marketing goals – to represent the more local commercial seller. Industrial sales are also starting to end up in Ted’s portfolio and we invite all commercial customers and clients to give him a call. We invite all commercial buyer brokers to call us and work with us in town as we may just know of the right property for your client.
